“We provide a complete architectural practice to organizations, covering all architecture activities included in the various phases of a project delivery such as business case development, requirements gathering, architecture creation, and support for Production Turn Over,” asserts Neil Rerup, President and Chief Architect. To assist CIOs in delivering good quality work products, the firm reviews their deliverables and incorporates solutions that are of high standards. “We have a set of architectural templates that speeds up architecture practice not only at the solution level but at the program level as well as the governance level. Our processes include architectural governance that is customized and knowledge-based,” says Rerup.
Helping organizations to create their own architecture practice, “We provide a reference library, so that every time when research is done, these research papers go into a reference library that is made available to our clients.” This library is filled with whitepapers on various technologies, processes, and vendors, collected since 2000.
We aim to continuously improve the quality of the deliverables that we offer by analyzing architecture at a program level
Focusing on core EA needs, ECA takes a consistent, objective, standard-based approach to deeply understand the important requirements and risks that businesses face, while balancing it with effective controls and sound architectural principles. “We emphasize on application, infrastructure, network, and security domains to provide solution architectures and EA services to enterprises,” adds Rerup. ECA stresses on creating strategies, managing programs and making sure that the projects are moving forward. ECAsolution architecture creates solutions by using standard templates and methodologies that improve the level of quality in organization architecture. “We aim to continuously improve the quality of the deliverables that we offer by analyzing architecture at a program level,” points out Rerup.
In one instance, the firm assisted a North American Utility to bring an EA framework and security into their organization to implement a 5 year strategy in order to deliver their projects within the targeted time. ECA created security strategies through smart programs with their outsourcing solution and improved the client’s infrastructure. They also provided a complete report of the project and provided recommendations on how to improve the ongoing and future tasks.
The company has created a niche for itself with the EA approach along with the business and technology alignment. Moving forward, ECA plans to extend its services across the U.S. and Rerup concludes, “We focus on creating solutions and guidance services for our clients so that our solutions can address all their EA needs.”
